36th year report

Chris is 36 today and we thought a little profile of him to join in those of Madeleine and Dominic would not go amiss - so here goes!

Looks: Chris is sporting his summer holiday hair do this week having been to the hairdressers and had it bleached blond in streaks. Unfortunately, my camera and I were not on hand to take a picture of him in his shower cap. Otherwise on the looks front, he remains as slim and tall as ever with remarkably little effort (b******). However, on the negative side of life, the grey hairs are appearing apace....everywhere.

Personality: Um. Well. To know him is to love him as they say......

Skills and experience: Chris is obviously a skilled father of three, a very experienced international traveller and is now a director of something or other at AZ which pays the bills very nicely thank you. Apparently a German tutor is on the cards so perhaps, if I'm still doing this blog thing, he'll have some new skills to report on next year. Other skills which may be less well known include omellette and pancake making, cocktail making and, according to the boys at least, the ability to fix anything. Any other skills I think I'll keep knowledge of to myself.

Likes: Rioja, steak, sushi, music, fixing things, films, working, not working and sleeping.

Dislikes: DIY, children crying, the smell of cat food, working, Fiona Bruce, Manchester United and any other football team that is better than Liverpool at any given moment.

What we love about him: sense of humour, silly hair, good looks, and the boys say they love playing with him (Cute!)

What tests us just a little: Not much - although his reputation for being a miserable git is pretty well earnt!
