Friday night

I knew I was out in Manchester on a Friday night when I went to the loo in the restaurant and listened to some girl yakking in the cubicle next to me. At least it wasn't me.

We went to a massive Chinese, the Tai Wu, and enjoyed the best Chinese food we've had in ages. Then off to a pub to watch an older lady show some younger men the tattoo on her bum - nice. Finally, back to ours to release the babysitter and, unwisely, lay into some more drinks.

Saturday was a quiet day. At least the children showed us some mercy.
