On the 30th of May, Maddie had her second birthday. She had a great time and enjoyed all the presents we had taken to the States with us. Here’s a brief profile report of her, now she is two.
Looks
Maddie has still not had a haircut, but there are little sandy curls appearing so her baldy days are really over. She looks very cute in a dress and describes herself and “pretty” or as a “princess”. Her favourite clothes though are her pony t-shirt and her Peppa Pig pyjamas. She is small enough to fit trousers for a one to one and a half year old and is still wearing her first pair of shoes.

Skills and abilities
Excellent talking skills help Maddie get what she wants more often than not, without having to resort to tantrums. That said, when she asks for something daft – like to only drink out of her pink cup or to eat yoghurt in the front room – and doesn’t get her own way, she exocets much like any other two-year old. Some of her more memorable phrases include: “Don’t you dare!”, “Go away ______!” (insert here Dominic/Granny/Mummy/Daddy/Max or anyone else available), “No, Mummy do it”, “No, my Mummy” and most often simply “No!”
Apart from talking, Mads is also good at jumping, throwing things and drawing. She is keen to copy the boys, especially Max, and will have a go at cricket and football with varying degrees of success.

Dislikes
Milk for breakfast, thinking someone else is getting something that she isn’t, sharing anything.

High level cuteness, lovely cuddles and smiles, jolly sense of humour
What tests us about her
Bolshiness, messy approach to eating, shouting, whining way she says “apple juice” the minute she wakes up.
