It's great!

Teeth-destroying buckets of goo, loud calls of trick or treat, skeleton costumes bought cheap in Tesco and probably made in some terrible sweatshop somewhere, pumpkins carved and then thrown in the bin the next day, up too late on a school night with no real idea of what Halloween is about or why we have adopted this Americanised approach to it all. Shocking really. The kids had a fantastic time.
