It's Christmas!!!

Ahhh. Christmas time. The cute bits and the not so cute bits.

1. The Cute bits
Maddie says she hopes Santa will bring her a ........ present!
Trying to find the right number door on your advent calendar.
Making a santa picture, snowflakes and cards for friends.
The school nativity (of which more later).
Carol service at the local church.
The anticipation.

2. The Not-so-Cute bits
Dominic's Christmas list including a Nintendo DS, a mobile phone, a computer in his bedroom and £200 - none of which he is getting.
Max at the Church Carol service - "I'm not saying Amen." "Can we go yet?"
The glitter all over the floor. It's even on the cats.

Still - the good bits are clearly outweighing the bad. We have been busy at Lyme and Tatton park over the weekend with different friends and had a great Christmas curry and Singstar night here on Saturday. We took in Santa while we were at Eureka last weekend and Madeleine met him again at her pre-school Christmas party.

So far it looks like all three are still firm believers in the power of Santa and with only one week to go, I think he's ready for them. Here's hoping Granny and Grandpa's chimney is big enough for presents for three.
