Rant

Generally speaking I am not in favour of ranting blogs. To me they suggest that the ranter has become a little too submerged in the pleasure of his or her own rantiness and that while a good verbal rant can clear your mind, a written rant helps you wallow in it.

However. This is a photograph of Max's school jumper, clean on this morning.

What is it about children and yoghurt?? In fact what is it about children and eating?? When do they stop slaistering the stuff all over themselves? Why can't their uniform be yoghurt coloured too? Or why can't they just put on plastic cover-alls and wear them all day everyday simply being hosed down at the front door every evening?

I swear if I don't have the washing machine on almost every single day the clothes start exploding volcano-like from the washing basket and whispering reproaches at me every time I go to the loo.

Believe me: in a morning emergency sponge the sweater and blow dry it (with or without child inside it) crisis, this kind of yoghurt problem is almost insurmountable. It drives me nuts.

Rant over.

Woman after my own heart. I too live to do laundry as it's one of the elf chores I do for cheap rent at my sisters. Occassionally the laundry looks like it will explode and the laundry shoot has done on many occassions.
