Rumpole of the Bailey

Last Tuesday we went to the formal adoption and setting in stone of family Goodridge. I had never been in court before and apart from almost being arrested for looking at my camera inside the court building, it was a really impressive and enjoyable experience. The Judge was lovely (entirely un-Rumpole like) and the children spoke up brilliantly. It was quite emotional really. At the risk of being sickly, it does make us proud to have such fine friends.
