I can draw people

The other week we had the opportunity to go to something called The Royal Winter Fair (I think) and then to dinner at the CN Tower with a colleague of Chris and his family. We started off at the junior show-jumping, a tremendously dull experience until one feisty horse threw its youthful rider. Fortunately she wasn't near where we were sitting and so didn't hear Maddie's gleeful cries of "You failed! You failed." Although this seemed to me to be the most boring part of the whole day, it obviously caught Max's imagination. The next day using our very useful "I can draw people" book, he created this great picture.
Things looked up at the show however with many large pigs to be gawped at and some beautiful cows having their coats blow-dried to be admired whilst avoiding standing in their poo. We just scraped into the IAMS superdog show too - Woof woof! Then we went and took in the CN Tower for the first time. It was a bit of a cloudy day so the visibility wasn't the best, but we enjoyed some good food and all the city lights twinkling away. Major highlight for the kids was that the restaurant revolves and the highlight for the adults was that they were so absorbed in that, we got to eat in relative peace. Hurrah.
