Some mother's do 'ave 'em

Mother's day in Canada is on May 10th. Maddie has painted this portrait of me. I asked her why I had blonde hair. She said, because she likes it.

She also filled in this sheet about me. Just in case it's difficult to read it says:
My mother's name is Kate
My mother is 3 years old
My mother's favourite food is fish fingers
My mother likes to tidy up.
I'd give her one out of four for that one.

Also on the wall in pre-school is a list with all the children's names and why they love their "mom". Some because she loves them, some because she looks after them, Maddie, because her mum gives her sweets. Mmm. Could have been worse. Could have been candy!
