Part of our Christmas vacation was a few days in Bramhall with the Braithwaite side of the family. We stayed in our old house that my Mum and Dad are looking after. As well as catching up with old friends we also spent some great time with Mark, Lisa, Taca (dog) and Skunk (cat). As well as the usual celebrations it was interesting to wander familar streets and visit the shops, including a trip or two to Tescos! The pub behind our house has be rennovated and renamed the New Victorian. It is very nice and sells beer which is something of a novelty in the village. I believe that Pete and Rich have been installed as regulars.
