Here are the two little Bickerers (sorry, Braithwaite boys) after a fatherly telling off session. He left them for about two minutes and violence erupted. Chris has likened himself to U.S., Dominic to Israel and Max is Palestine. The disputed territory could be anything. Maddie and I arrived back from swimming to find that the peace talks were in crisis. Israel's heels were firmly dug in, Palestine was a bag of emotion and tearfulness and America was about ready to wash its hands off the whole sorry affair. And then two minutes later, the peace deal was signed. Hugs all round!
