Max is no. 1

Another Saturday, another swim meet. Dominic made excellent progress once again, taking four seconds off his 100 freestyle time and more than a second off his fifty freestyle too.

But while he had a good day, Max had a great one. He was in three races and won all three! By far his best swim meet. He went under 37 seconds for a fifty freestyle, comfortably won the 100 IM and just made it home in front in the breaststroke, despite his swim cap popping off. Swimming is great for Max. He is relentlessly competitive and quite happy to take coaching points whether he wins or not. Here he is having a post-race de-brief with A.J., who calls both him and Dominic "Great White". In his accent, that rhymes with Braithwaite. Not in mine.
