Just been reading houseofgin.blogspot.com and catching up with Jon's travels so I thought I would share my week. For me it has been an interesting start to the year presenting our dog and pony to the major European markets. This week I ventured to Milan and Brussels. In Milan we stay in a very strange hotel near the office. The rooms are like something from the set of The New Avengers or a 70's habitat showroom. I am really starting to warm to Italy. I love the way Milan airport sits under the Alps. You stand outside waiting for a taxi staring at a wall of snow covered rock. I have got to start taking my camera with me!! There is loads of snow there - handy since the Winter Olympics will be nearby. Earlier in January there wasn't much about. Brussels - well the best thing is leaving! I am now looking forward to a weekend avec les enfants and Kate.
