Mum and Dad brought me my old copy of this Spike Milligan classic when they came down for the weekend. I loved it, and the record we had of it too, and Dominic and Max did not disappoint when I read it to them. Max feels that Badjelly is "not kind" on account of her custom of turning children into sausages or boy/girl soup. Seems like a fair point, well made to me.

Dominic was very impressed with God's intervention to save Tim and Lucy and it gave him an opportunity to further discuss the question of whether God is a person or a being - an issue very intriguing to his four-year old mind. (Sorry, make that four and a half).
Anyway, whether you have children or not it is well worth a read and the pictures are looking great in our downstairs loo.
