A day at the races

On Saturday Chris and I went to the Grand Prix qualifying at Silverstone on a major jolly. We were guests of Accenture who do something with Williams so we got to have lunch with a Williams car right next to us and there were brief talks from both the teams drivers (neither of whom had done very well) and from Frank Williams.
Here is Chris looking self-conscious next to aforementioned car.

This is the Paddock club. It is all transported from one grand prix to another in some of the millions of huge lorries we saw all around us. It also has the poshest port-a-loos that I have ever been in, so posh they have special moisturising lotion that automatically squirts out onto your toilet roll (if you wave it in the right place) for "your comfort and well-being". We were particularly taken by the seating with was made of plastic, pleated and stapled together in a range of shapes.
In fact, I was so taken with it, I gave it a closer look. Posted by Picasa
