....but he didn't cry because he didn't want to. Whew. A successful 5th birthday party has been negotiated. Only one bumped head and one bumped knee. Lots of presents, lots of very pleasant, well behaved children and a few cups of coffee laced with sarcasm for the parents. On the way out of the Wacky Warehouse, Dominic did ask, "Whose party was that?" but he seemed quite happy when we reminded him that it was his party so hopefully it was worth the hassle and we can relax in the knowledge that the party season is now over until next year. Orange slide and ice cream are courtesy of the school fete which was on the same day - not a mistake I'll be making next time. Chris was very impressed that other people were prepared to leave their children in our care - God it's hard realising that you really are a grown up after all!
