Welcome to the October issue of Dolls House and Miniature Scene (yes really) where anyone who has visited our house since Christmas will recognise a the fantastic castle Mum made for me. The four page spread has a couple of thousand words by Mum explaining how she came to build the castle, design all the rooms, decorate and furnish everywhere and, of course, make it fittingly spooky. The photos were taken by me. We didn't get paid for the article or anything, but Mum's work more than stands up to scrutiny on the dolls house scene and doing it amused us both quite a lot.
