Welcome to Blogart, a new twist on Blog 'em and bin 'em where Dominic is up for the blogging bit but might not take to kindly to his efforts being binned (too soon).

This is a picture of a plane in the sky and a plane on the runway. On the right, is air traffic control where Dominic thinks he might like to work one day. He has specifically asked that this picture, of which he is rightly proud, be on the internet by tomorrow morning. Why? Because he is a bit upset today. It seems that Dominic is having to come to terms with not being very good at football. Indeed, in his view, it seems that he is not only not very good at it, it may well be that he is the worst person at playing football - ever (apart from his father - chris).

Through our efforts to distract him, he got into drawing this picture with which he is so pleased, he wonders if he is now a better artist than his Nana (God! Where did all this competitiveness come from??) I thought it would be nice if we sent it to Nana and offered to buy a cardboard backed envelope to send it in tomorrow. I thought the idea was a winner....but no. Dominic would like me to send Nana a photograph of the drawing while we keep the original, in pride of place.

Instead, we have agreed that his art work will be on the internet and he can go to sleep dreaming of being an artist - instead of a premiership footballer. After all, reality can be rather over-rated for all of us, never mind a five year old.

And for the record, please note that the three black things with blue underneath are rain-clouds and the dots on the left side are football players...... Nope, don't think we are quite out of the woods on that one yet.
