Remember, remember...

On Sunday, Chris and I bestirred ourselves and, mainly because we had our visitors from Dublin with us, invited a few more good friends than usual to our traditional firework fling.

Richard and Chris did their thing with the fireworks but I can't blog any fancy photos because I couldn't take any. Madeleine, it turns out, is not a fan of dark rooms, loud bangs and wheee noises, especially when all she can see out of the kitchen door is her Dad running to and fro like a mad match boy.

The ratio of 11 adults to 6 children worked well as we had all the hysteria and excitement children produce without being utterly overwhelmed by them. I think everyone had a good time and the fireworks were expertly captured by Jonny and can be viewed here.
