Year 1 don't get to do much in these things. Reception sit at the front looking cute, Year 2 all get speaking parts and that leaves Year 1 all crammed down one side of the stage just singing. At least Dominic was in the second to front row and visible - which was not true for them all by any means. However, they do hold a photo shoot at the end so everybody gets a go on stage.
Yesterday in the car Dominic told me that they had been trying on his costume and he didn't need to wear his trousers. I had thought so too, but little boys can be funny about such things so I had let him take them in. What he then went on to inform me though, was that he was making a point of telling me he wouldn't be wearing them just in case I noticed today and interupted his play by shouting out to ask where his trousers were. Just exactly what I would have done of course!

A fine looking traveller even without his trousers. I hope we can hear some of the script next time we visit. Auntie Mel x
Hmm, I seem to remember at the last play that he didn't want to remove his tights (frog spawn). This time he didn't want to wear pants. hmmmmm! Sterling job on the costume once again Kate. I can see you'll be a full time costume maker in no time.
