Still on catch up. Here is the present festival that was our house on the day in question. This picture is put together using autostitch which took only marginally longer to do than it might have taken me to have put a fish-eye lense on our camera - always supposing I had one.
After this, there was a three-stage exchange of presents, lots of eating, plenty of drinking and lots of collecting up useless cardboard, questing for batteries and trying to remember who had bought what and for whom. Anything else about the day has now pretty much faded from my mind although the Nigel Slater trifle was very satisfactory - and just as easy to make as he promised.
We postponed Christmas Dinner until Boxing Day and although the barbie ran out of gas and the turkey did have to go in the oven, and although Max was sick on the table just as Christmas dinner was being served (may he be forgiven), I think the all the grandparents and Uncle Mark found that Christmas "at home with the Braithwaites" was pretty much okay.

Hmm was that a hint for the next Christmas present (note to self, one fisheye lens for Kate for Christmas). Liked the Chrissy decks and I'm so sorry the Barbie ran out of gas..... Doh!
Christmas at home with the Braithwaites was pretty woderful as far as we were concerned Hope it was at least OK for you.
Love Mum
Looks like a great time was had by all! And what a nice house. How'd you make the fancy panoramic? That's really cool.
