Last Wednesday, Sibyl and I went to the theatre to see The Vortex starring Will Young of Pop Idol fame. He was good I thought, and his mother played by Diana Hardcastle, and dancing with him in this picture, was excellent. On the downside however, the other characters were pretty flat, just there to symbolise the empty decadence of their world, and it was considerably less gripping when they were on the set. Didn't much like it as a play, but loved the set - an art deco swirling vortex.
Meanwhile, Jared stayed in enjoying some other aspects of UK life not so easily available in Australia. He went for an M&S meal, Top Gear and Never Mind the Buzzcocks.

haha love your blog. I saw the Vortex too, bloody brilliant. As for the M&S food - why are there never any of the prawn type currys on the shelf? One of life's mysteries I guess.
I do miss going to the theatre with you. Wished I'd been there.
