It has been a good month for artistry. These are Dom and Max's Father's Day cards.
But it has been a bad month for films. We saw Ocean's Thirteen in a bizarre Saturday night at the Trafford Centre experience where it appears that people don't mind queueing up for restaurants. Weird. We watched Pan's Labyrinth - good for me, not so much for Chris. At least he couldn't hear me wincing and making horrified noises because he had his MP3 player on while he read his book. We've also watched two totally dreadful films - My Super Ex-Girlfriend and Happy Gilmore. Both too execrable for further comment.
It has been a good month for the kids. Maddie can jump, Max likes visiting his classroom in preparation for starting school and Dominic can read. Really, really read. Really well. They've also started providing us with a local social life which has kept us busy but also meant a few trying hangovers.
Do I really need to say it has been a bad month for the weather? God it's awful. And we've been having the outside of the house decorated. I don't think I want to write anymore!

Dominic was always going to be a good reader I think. I'm so glad he can now read his own bedtime stories to himself.
