Summer holiday - week 2

Back at home for week two. Monday was spent making a tree using leaf painting. It is on the window in the green room and looks rather fine. Tuesday, Chris took the day off and we went to Eureka. Once again the kids loved it there and all found new areas of interest.
On Wednesday Max had a party and Dominic and Maddie and I coped by consoling ourselves with ice cream and books. On Thursday we caught up with Liz, Joseph and William and also Alison, Nathan, Max and Eve. A very busy day.
On Friday Chris was off again and we went to the Davenport for lunch in the garden and had a lovely family time. Then on Saturday we did the walk that Dominic has blogged about and had a barbecue with Liz, Pete, Joseph, William and some wasps.
Each day feels like a bit of an epic journey with 3 children looking at you for ideas on what to do for thirteen hours, but on the whole, week 2 passed pretty happily. Next week, the Edinburgh festival.
