Okay so this is probably not quite what Keats had in mind, but I rather like it.
These poor potatoes and corn were in fact a stock-pile of ammunition for young visitors to Redhouse Farm's Halloween extravaganza last week. Dominic and Max enjoyed catapulting potatoes and shooting corn out of some pressure machine thing that was too technical for me to describe more accurately. They also went for rides in barrels being pulled by a quad bike, enjoyed having creepy ghost people leap out at them when they least expected it, survived the creepy house and collected lots of clues to win a prize. Maddie and I ventured inside a giant pumpkin that had lots of balloons blowing about in it. I thought that was pretty good of me frankly.
Big thanks though are due to Mum and Dad for helping out over half-term and special mention to Dad for enduring the stomach bug the kids gave him with such stoicism.

I love your photos, this one appeals to me as well. It's earthy and it's something else, but the word escapes me right now.
