Midlife crisis

I'll explain the picture first. I was on a teleconference the other day. Actually I spend my life on teleconferences. They are a symptom of the modern world and modern ways of working but I will save that rant for another time. Anyway about 20 minutes into the call our oven exploded. The strangest thing was it wasn't even switched on. The pic is the remnants of the door.

So back to the subject. At Christmas I decided I was getting fat and old. I decided to do something about it. I have beaten the fat by running 20 or so kilometres a week, doing pilates and spending a lot of time being friends with our cross trainer. Fat done.

It is difficult to beat the onset of age and I decided to take age to task by getting my eyes lasered. Initial appointment Monday and op was on Thursday. Wow, it is so cool being able to see. I have been wearing specs and lenses since the age of 8 and was getting annoyed with the not being able to see things even with my glasses on. It was costing me a fortune in golf balls. 2 days on I can see better than I have ever seen before. I am officially 20:20.

Are you sure that's an oven door and not some bits and pieces left over from your trip to India?

I am reading this while in a teleconference! No exploding ovens, but the neighbours are having their windows replaced, so I am competing with drilling.
