The reluctant frog

Maddie did not want to go swimming tonight. Last week she actually had to swim a whole length and it made her legs hurt. We are delighted that she happens to be the only person in her group and so is getting one on one tuition. She is less than thrilled. There is no rest when you are the only one swimming!

On the way home from the Y, while her legs might have been tired again, there was nothing wrong with any muscles connected to speech. She prattled on at length about a science experiment they've been doing at school and talked, as she often does, about being a teacher when she grows up. Being a teacher, according to Mads, would be very interesting. What she would like about it, is teaching people. Oh, and being in charge of the big white board. I think she just wants to be the boss.
