Same old, same old

So...swimming again.
Could be a problem with this blog a day concept. We are too boring! But no! That won't do!
Max and I left the house at 7.10am and got back from his meet at about 2pm. This was an invitational for aged 9 and under so a day off for Dominic but lots of races for Max. Somehow he just keeps getting better! There were kids from about 6 or 7 clubs there today. He came 7th in the 25 freestyle with his first time under 17 secs. He was 5th in the 25 breaststroke, shaving more than a second off his personal best and he improved his time in backstroke for the second day in a row, won his heat and came a brilliant 2nd over all.
Of course, being Max, he was disappointed not to make an improvement on his time in the 50 free (he was still 6th!) and only 3 of the top boys in his team were there so they only came 2nd in the relay... But it seemed to me that he had a pretty good meet!
