Congratulations in order...

... for Maddie who passed the swim test at the YMCA today and was awarded a green band. This means she can go on all the slides at the outdoor pool in the summer and jump in and out of anywhere without drowning.
Or at least that's what it means to her.

What it means to me is weeks of reading and sunbathing by the pool every day between 10.30 and 11.30 while all the kids do summer swim team! It means peace! It means all 3 of them doing the meets which means more races to watch and cheer. And it means watch out swimming world. The Braithwaite excellence at backstroke seems to be solid across all three sprogs. Dunno where they are getting it from - but hurray for swimming!
