Museum of Scotland

Best destination of the week for me. Excellent bugs exhibition with massive moving bugs and creepy crawlies, truly interactive and multi-sensory with information at a range of levels so you could take children of different ages, as well as adults, and all see something new. The new Connect hands-on area is really good too and we had the added bonus of the Science festival to do some bubble blowing and throwing a big plastic ball about (see above). We used to come here a lot when I was little because it was free and dry. We loved it then but it is a whole lot better now. Posted by Picasa
