On Tuesday, Mum, Maddie and I went to Chatsworth. I had never been before and was just as impressed as I had hoped to be. The building itself is very imposing and the gardens are beautifully laid out and filled with fountains and sculptures. I particularly liked The Drummer, this large hare which is a new acquisition, and also this trick willow tree which is actually a metal fountain and has been at Chatsworth for 300 years.

Oh Kate - I am so envious you have recently been to Chatsworth - one of my most favourite places ever - your lovely photos bring back fond memories - must go again soon - also lovely to see Dominic enjoying his big boy 5th birthday. Hope to see you all soon.
