It is, as they say, that time of year. Max made his debut on the stage this morning as a very shy, finger sucking shepherd who did, however, remember most of the words and stood up and sat down in all the right places. Maddie was very impressed with him and shouted "Max" quite a lot and clapped furiously. The pre-school nativity is always very sweet - and the singing more or less drowns out the ones that are in floods of tears.

Oh how I miss attending the children's plays. I only hope the singing would drown out the crying of the adults (me mainly, I'm such a softy). And Max's costume is tremendous
