Mother's Day
Yesterday was Mother's Day so I was dragged from my bed at 6.45am to put off the house alarm and let Dominic into the front room to get my card. He'd tried to give it to me on Friday afternoon, on Saturday morning, after lunch on Saturday and at tea-time too. He was pretty keen on his quilling so here it is in all its glory.
I was so impressed, I've recorded the inside for posterity too. I was also pretty impressed that Max managed to write his own name on his Mother's Day offering. This is a salt dough model - of me.
And I'm not sure how well they show up in this photo, but the holes on the face were put there on purpose. They are my freckles. Obviously.

I find your Freckles very attractive. Did you get a nice breakfast in bed as well? I like the quilling, though I find the craft itself quite boring.
