My hat it has three corners

On Saturday, we all went to the Lowry to have a look at the gallery and see a children's show. This 'draw yourself in a hat' activity caused some amusement and we did a bit of detective work with a worksheet where part of a painting is shown and you have to find the picture itself. Max got quite into that while Dominic had a go at copying one of the Lowry's. Maddie marauded.

Then we went to watch the show - me and the boys that is. It was not quite what I thought it would be. There were five actors, each dressed in grey/black clothes and carrying different sized white balls. I'm not going to write any more about it because it was pretty forgetable and if I put it in here, it might be more memorable than it deserves to be - if that makes sense. Dominic - who loves live theatre - said he really enjoyed it, but Max - more of a traditionalist - wanted to know where the dressed up people were. I was with Max.
