Brewer's Dictionary of Phrase and Fable (previously known as a caption competition before I started this silly idea of giving each blog a book title)

I love this photo of Chris arriving at the bottom of "The Drop Zone", one of many attractions we sampled at Canada's Wonderland on Sunday. It was a family day put on by Chris' generous employers. We spent seven hours there and it didn't cost us a bean.

We had a great time. Dominic and Max were very brave taking on scary rides like The Vortex and The Fly and getting themselves and Chris throughly soaked on a water ride not once, but twice. Madeleine was well catered for with some very slow swans, a very slow train, a very slow car and a very slow helicopter. She also had a cuddle with an enormous Dora the Explorer and Max and Dominic snuggled up to Scooby Doo. It was a bit of a muggy day but the rain stayed away and so, I presume, did lots of potential visitors as we barely had to queue up for anything. Hurrah.

But enough of that. Come on guys! This photo of Chris is crying out for a caption. I'm waiting.....

Chris ponders why he is the only one on the enigmatically titled "Certain Death Or At Least A Permanent Limp" ride.
