Oranges are not the only fruit

Apples. Today was Apple Day for the Beavers of Oakville. As of a week past Thursday, this includes Dominic and Max. Here they are in their Beaver gear with their lodge badges (Dom is a Cheetah, Max is a Panther) lovingly (sloppily) sewn on by me this morning.

Those who examine this picture closely will notice that Dominic is looking a little different. Yesterday he pulled out one of his front teeth. The tooth fairy gave him two loonies for it - pretty damn generous if you ask me.

Anyway, the good news is that they rattled their tins in front of the local supermarket like proper little Beavers and, even better, apparently they get another badge for taking part. I am licking the thread and eyeing my needle in anticipation.
