A portrait of the artist as a young man (or woman)

 

I used to put the children's art work on here under the title of Blog 'em and bin 'em which I rather liked. Now that I've gone down this book title cul de sac however, I felt obliged to change the title. Be assured though that the principle is the same.

There is a lot of art going on here at the minute. Mostly (but not exclusively) this is being generated at school and pre-school. In a cynical moment I might say that's because they don't do anything at school here except stuff like colouring in. And it might be true. And then I think about their spelling tests and about how useful it will be in their future lives for Dominic to be able to spell bubble gum and Max to be able to spell pog.....

But also Maddie is at a very creative age and the boys do both enjoy a bit of art so here I am celebrating it while it gets quietly recycled. Very quietly.
