And finally - pictures taken with my new camera lens.
I love the view from our front door. Almost makes up for having to get up for those dogs. This morning I found they had discovered how to open and empty the shredder in the study. Lots of doggie fun.
I've had another day at home with Max today although we did venture to the supermarket as the cupboards were spectacularly bare. I bought him a sandwich at the deli counter while we were there - his favourite kind - a hoagie. To the uninitiated, this is a bread roll shaped a bit like a torpedo, and as stodgy and unappetising as you are probably imagining.
I asked for ham and cheese. The lady asked me if I wanted mayo. I said no, just butter. She thought I asked for mustard. So I said no, butter. She looked at me like I was a nut-job and started giggling.
This, as I explained to Max later, is the kind of thing that happens to me a lot.
