Easter action

Ah. School holidays. Got to love them. Easter is usually one of the easier holidays with Good Friday and Easter Monday breaking things up but Easter was so early this year that Good Friday was the first day of the holidays and they did not go back until this morning.

Week one was however much enlivened by a visit from Mum and Dad. In the face of some pretty uninspiring weather we tackled the delights of the Staircase House Museum in Stockport and the Imperial War Museum in Salford. The boys certainly enjoyed writing with quill pens and the dinosaur dig they did with Granny was a hit. I quite like these pictures of Maddie and Grandpa trying out seventeenth century sugar loaf hats too.
